Our history
Magnus Legal was founded in 2005, as part of the Visma group, with an aim to complement Visma’s accounting and HR services by offering high quality legal advice with a focus on tax, VAT and adjacent legal areas.
From the inception in Bergen, we have grown rapidly and now have offices in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim. We assist customers from several different countries, and we offer legal expertise within a variety of business law areas.
In 2017 Visma Advokater changed name to Magnus Legal, as a result of the sale of the BPO division from Visma in 2016. The accounting and HR companies changed their names to Azets. To date, Magnus Legal and Azets continue their close cooperation.
